Come Thou Fount

My background hymn currently is "Come Thou Fount", one of my favourite. Here's one choir singing this hymn. It's rather emotional and dramatic owing to the symphony orchestra. Look out for the lady who cried. There is really no need to "create" a praise-the-Lord atmosphere by jumping and shouting for people to be touched by the godly lyrics.

Click on your internet browser's "Stop" to stop my background music.

Lyric is here. The choir arrangement kinda switched some lines, but can be followed nonetheless.

Come Thou Fount
Come, Thou Fount of every blessing, Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing, Call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet, Sung by flaming tongues above.
Praise the mount! I’m fixed upon it,Mount of Thy redeeming love.

Here I raise my Ebenezer; Hither by Thy great help I’ve come;
And I hope, by Thy good pleasure, Safely to arrive at home.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, Prone to leave the God I love;
Here’s my heart, O take and seal it, Seal it for Thy courts above.

O to grace how great a debtor Daily I’m constrained to be!
Let Thy goodness, like a fetter, Bind my wandering heart to Thee.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, Prone to leave the God I love;
Here’s my heart, O take and seal it, Seal it for Thy courts above.

The last stanza is my absolue favourite. It just reflects my personal struggle many a times.
