Because it's the right thing to do

It's very painful, I know. But it's the right thing to do, so you gotta keep on it.

From the very start it was not done properly. You did not wait for the Lord's timing. And so when the foundation is shaky, everything else you build on cannot last. As you keep building, you made mistakes, and you tried to glue the mistakes as you go along.

But that's not how it should be done. The best way, in this case at least, is to take everything apart and rebuild again. At least - when you finally know how to, or if you should even build at all.

It's great heartache. It's unlike common breakups. Because this is not the result of a quarrel. It's not because you don't love each other anymore. But you know right now, at your stage, you are too immature to handle the heat of the friction that occurs when you become so close to someone. You are not experienced in life yet. You are not ready to commit. You are not ready to submit. You have too much pride.

So this is the right thing to do - before all these arguments and quarrels finally wear out any affection between you. This is right because all these friction is tearing apart the testimony you've been building all these years for your family members. It is the right thing to do because you need the distance and time to understand what is God's will. Maybe this time round you'll learn to wait upon the Lord.

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." - Romans 8:28

This is true. You still have God. And that's enough. Remember that the love of Christ is more than sufficient for anyone. Companionship is a matter of God's will for individuals. Remember that no matter how impossible things may seem now, God shall surely bring something to pass as long as it's in His will. If it's not, then there's no point for you to hold on to it either - it'll end in disaster.

So wait upon the Lord. Things will get alright. Things will be better. Just do what is right to do.

God will take care of you.
